Leadenhall Market

Last week, while working on a different site, I passed by Leadenhall Market for which existence I was not even aware of.

It is situated in between Monument and Bank underground station. As it says on the websites it is modern retail centre set within a historical Victorian marketplace.

There are many shops and restaurants, which you could appreciate even on a rainy day during the week days. It is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

That particular day, which I believe was 26th of May, there was a Shakespeare play going on and of course, they tried to make it as close as possible for modern times. I would definitely be going back there, it seems vintage and exotic to me.

I think this is pretty much like a fairy place where all the tales could exist.

Thank you.
